My interest in permanent makeup was first piqued in 1996 while I was in cosmetology school. We had a one day class to introduce us to it. I wanted to learn more about doing permanent makeup back then but heard that I would have to go to California. That wasn’t possible at the time, so I put it on the back of my mind. In 1998 I met a woman who did permanent makeup and taught classes on it. She had done some work on herself which I was very impressed with. I asked her to do full face makeup on me, eyeliner, eyebrows, and lips. I loved it! She thought I would be good at permanent makeup because I have a cosmetology background, I’m an artist, and I do traditional makeup well. Her belief in me gave me the confidence to go through with the classes. She taught me well and said I was her favorite student. I had two month’s worth of clients to work on right after I finished the training. I have liked doing permanent makeup so much, that I quit doing hair to focus only on doing permanent makeup and, since 2006, teaching others how to do it. I have a strong passion for permanent makeup. I love creating a beautiful look for the women I work with. Through word of mouth I have built up a good sized client base. I love them and they have been so happy with the work I have done for them, they have sent their friends and family to me. I love what I do!
